   School library is a library within a school where students, staff school have access to a variety of resources. The goal of the school library is to ensure that all members of the school community have equitable access "to books and reading, to information, and to information technology."School libraries are distinct from public libraries because they serve as "learner-oriented laboratories which support, extend, and individualize the school's curriculum...A school library serves as the center and coordinating agency for all material used in the school.

IFLA/UNESCO School Library Manifesto :

The school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today’s information and knowledge-based society. The school library equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens.

Mission :

The Library provides a welcoming learning environment for students and staff; supports the school’s aims and curriculum; encourages the love of reading and the development of students’ independent learning skills.

Opening Hours :

The library is open every school day from
08 a.m. to 2.40 p.m.

Library Periods:

According to the school time table the students of Class IV-IX can visit the library for the issue and return of the books during their library periods. They can refer books and participate in library activities during this time.

Class Libraries:

Classes  libraries are functioning for classes I to III.
