Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khonsa of Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh was started in 2004-05 under Silchar Region. It has classes from I to X. It comes under Civil Sector (State Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh). It is running temporary old SSB building. It caters to needs of the children of transferable and non transferable employees of the State Government and Central Government. Nestled in the lap of Nature in the midst of lush green vegetation and beautiful idyllic surroundings, it provides an excellent environment for effective learning.

The Kendriya Vidyalayas are established to provide excellent education to the children of the Central Govt. employee and other floating population who are the future of our country. We are familiar with the saying that “Ideas

rule the world” and “Knowledge is popular” Success is not merely a question of a luck or genius. It depends on hard work, sustained toil and intelligent application on your part. Never be afraid of making mistakes. To err is human only make sure you learn from mistakes and don’t repeat them. Sincere efforts & enthusiasm leads brilliant performance & produce extraordinary result. Each child is promised individual attention and ample opportunities to explore the world outside his/her prescribed syllabus, we assure that once out of school, our children will face corporate world with tremendous confidence and belief in themselves and their abilities. For this, along with academics, which is always our first preference, we encourage the child to participate in various sports and co-curricular activities, both technical and non-technical, so as to bring out their skills.
